Downtown St. Paul, along the Mississippi is Raspberry Island (Navy Island), and on this island is this boat club which dates back to around 1870. After this painting was completed it was remodeled. Crew rowing boats were stored behind the massive water-front doors. The High Bridge is in the background as well as Harriet Island. Completed in 2002.
